Basic Commands / Lead Training

Peggy has some basic commands, she is walked using a normal collar and lead, she will pull only through excitement but with some firm instruction to slow down she will walk at a slower pace and not pull so much, she has potential and it would not take much to get her upto speed with her commands and lead work.

Notes on how the dog reacts to dogs:  MUST BE A DOG FREE HOME
Notes on how the dog reacts to cats:  MUST BE A CAT FREE HOME
How the dog reacts to people in general and strangers:  Peggy is a fantastic girl, a typical dominant bitch which will need a firm owner which will nip any issues in the bud not allow her to get away with anything, a typical shepherd bitch which is strong minded. She is a friendly happy girl which gets excited when she sees people she knows as well as protect if the need was to arise. overall a lovely older girl
How the dog reacts to children / limitations with children:

Our rehoming policy when a dog has been found as a stray is rehoming with children 9-12yrs onwards or preferably with no children.

Grooming experience:  Will need a groom when rehomed, she is brushed and does not seem that phased by the brush.

Current Location of Dog:

Assessors Notes:  Peggy is a lovely happy excitable girl which will provide plenty of love and companionship to her new owners, as well as this she will also protect if needed, a typcial shepherd attitude, where you will know you have a shepherd but will be oozing in love for her new owner when no one else is looking.
